Overtime windfall for Louisville firefighters: From courier-journal.com

It will cost at least $17.6 million to pay Louisville firefighters the money they are owed for years of miscalculated overtime, city officials said yesterday.

That would give an average of $22,250 in back pay to the 793 retired and active firefighters eligible for the payments. The exact amount each firefighter receives will vary, depending on their time with the department and the amount of overtime they worked.
