Two families have been displaced after a home they were sharing caught fire Monday afternoon in Sedamsville.

It was reported just after 3 p.m. in a bedroom of the home, located in the 700 block of Steiner Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the one story home.

According to the Cincinnati Fire Department (CFD), it was contained within 15 minutes. Several people were home at the time but were all able to make it out safely.
