Video above from Brandy Morgan and below from SuperStarman777 of an apartment fire Friday in Lakewood, Colorado that injured four people.
Flames raged on the third floor of a 3-story apartment building at 5745 W. Atlantic Place in Lakewood. It’s just inside Lakewood city limits.
West Metro Fire spokeswoman Michelle French says the first 911 calls came at 8:01 and the first firefighters arrived at 8:06. Crews said the fire was under control by about 9:00 p.m.
The flames were contained to two units. There was smoke and water damage to many more. The building that caught fire has 24 units in it.
Firefighters from Denver also responded because the location is right on the border of the two cities, so there was a major attack on the fire that kept it from spreading.
