A fire “heavily damaged” a two-story home on Las Naranjas in Laguna Niguel Monday afternoon, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said.

A family of five lives in the home on the 24000 block of Las Naranjas, the spokesman said. Kids were away at school and no one was found inside, he said.
