This is film from June 9, 1955 when a fire fueled by high winds burned businesses along the boardwalk in Seaside Heights and Seaside Park, New Jersey. Some of the same area that burned on Thursday burned then. The big differences are that the 1955 fire destroyed three blocks instead of four and the wind, from what I can tell in this film, appears to be coming from the northeast moving the fire south from Seaside Heights to Seaside Park.
