Crews were the scene of an eight-alarm fire that started around 5 a.m. Tuesday in a large commercial building in South Boston.

Firefighters continued to battle the flames at 327 Summer Street in a five-story commercial building.

According to broadcast reports, the five-story brick building on Summer Street in South Boston's "Innovation District" was undergoing renovations.

Firefighters were ordered out of the building.

There were no reports of injuries.
