Arrival video from Don Murtha (murthad02) at a house fire around 2:00 this morning (Monday) on Tudor Road in Cheektowaga, New York (Erie County). It appears defensive operations are ordered around the 9:00 mark in the video. Here’s Don’s description:

Cleveland Hill Chiefs on scene with heavy smoke showing from a 1.5 story occupied dwelling. Large amounts of debris hinder advancement of interior attack lines.
Crews pull out and set up for Defensive Ladder Pipe Operations
3 -1¾” & 1 -2½” lines in use + PineHill Ladder 6 airborne and flowing.
