Early video: House fire in Kailua, Hawaii
Honolulu firefighters rushed to a two-alarm house fire in Kailua Tuesday. The call came in from 401 Keolu Dr. before noon.
Eight companies of firefighters were called in to fight the blaze. The flames also caught the attention of people in the area.
Joey Muller was at his cousin’s house nearby when he noticed something wrong. “We saw a bunch of smoke coming and went down the street to check it out and saw the house engulfed in flames,” said Muller.
Firefighters were able to control the flames in less than half an hour.
