Extrication Israeli style: Firefighters improvise to remove truck driver from rig dangling over tunnel

An Israeli truck driver crashed his rig down a mountain on Monday, leaving the cabin dangling upside down above the entrance to a tunnel.
The terrified and bloodied driver was forced to wait in the upturned cabin until help came.
And video of the event shows that he spent some of that time chatting on his mobile phone.
Finally, a troupe of firefighters arrived and plucked the dazed looking driver to safety.
Fire and rescue officer Pine Avrahami told MSN Israel that when they arrived the truck was “hanging by a thread”.
