A three-alarm blaze in Burnaby has left one family homeless.
Burnaby fire assistant chief Scott Wren says the age of the home made it very difficult to fight the fire. “Because of the steepness of the house when it was built there was no fire stops of any kind. The damage was extensive. I don’t want to say a write-off, but probably close.”
