Nackawic fire station burned last week
(Thanks to FireRecue Atlantic for alerting STATter911.com to this story.)
Millville Mayor Bev Forbes says the small village in western New Brunswick “lost everything” in an early morning fire at the municipal building, which housed the council chambers, fire department and a seniors’ centre.
Fire Chief Justin Mcguigan estimates the damage will be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Foul play has not been ruled out, say RCMP.

Volunteer firefighters from several nearby departments responded to the blaze in Millville, about 60 kilometres northwest of Fredericton, at about 3:30 a.m. on Monday.
The Mounties say all the equipment inside of the building was destroyed, except for one fire truck that was on loan to the community of Nackawic after a blaze at that fire station just one week ago.
