Raw video & radio traffic from Buffalo fire – Roof concerns bring evac order

Raw video and radio traffic from Don Murtha (Erie County New York Incidents) of a large vacant house burning early this (Saturday) morning on Orlando Street in Buffalo, New York. Concerns about the roof bring an evacuation order at 2:39 into the video.

Ladder 5 on scene with a large vacant 2.5 story dwelling. Heavy fire 2nd floor #3 side extending through roof. With roof already collapsing and exposure on #4 side B-56 requests extra 2 & 1 to scene & orders everyone out for Defensive Operations of main fire building. City Engineer is called in to bring a backhoe to help dismantle roof area during overhaul.
