Arrival video from TechnicianBobDetroit taken at a house fire yesterday (Tuesday) in Frankenmuth, Michigan. And I will point out the obvious before someone else mentions it. A firefighter stretching the initial attack line trips and falls on the ground.
Firefighters responded at 9:09 a.m. Tuesday to Leach’s single-story home on the corner of Beyerlein and Heine in Frankenmuth after (homeowner Paul) Leach’s daughter, who was home alone, saw smoke and called 911.
She got out safely, but the house appeared to be a total loss. Firefighters were on scene for several hours, soaking hot spots and spraying foam inside the home.
Firefighters initiated an interior attack on the blaze that appeared to have started in the garage and spread to the attic and the rest of the house.
