A fire ignited in a vacant building and spread to neighboring buildings in east Baltimore Sunday afternoon, officials with the Baltimore City Fire Department said.
The fire started at Kirk and Curtain avenues around 3:42 p.m. Sunday. When firefighters arrived, they found flames fully engulfing the building.
Baltimore City Fire Capt. Roman Clark said the fire was upgraded to three alarms. He said two other buildings have caught fire due to the high winds that spread embers from the original fire.
