Early video from two-alarm fire in Delaware County, PA

Early video by Jack Bramhall  from a two-alarm house fire around 9:30 Friday morning at 720 Agnes Avenue in the Folsom section of Ridley Township, Pennsylvania (Delaware County) that killed one dog and left a second one with burns.  Also below is radio traffic from FiregroundAudio and a video at the bottom of the page by steve weber showing Eddystone Fire Company‘s 1987 Hahn responding to the second alarm. (The response was taken down shortly after it made FirefighterCloseCalls.com. Billy Goldfeder talks about it here and has another version posted.)

Thanks to Steve Castellano Jr. for alerting us to this fire.

Vince Sullivan, Delaware County Daily Times:

Firefighters arrived to find a wall of flames throughout the home. A thick plume of black smoke could be seen as far away as Interstate 95 in Chester.

“Upon our arrival, the dwelling was fully involved,” said Folsom Fire Co. Chief Ben Salmieri.

The fire was so intense and had done so much structural damage to the home in a short period of time that firefighters were not able to enter the building to try and battle the blaze.

“It was an exterior-only attack,” Salmieri said.
