Raw video of two-alarm house fire with evacuation order in Northampton, PA

Pre-arrival video above from Bill Rohrer (newsworking) of Newsworking and more video below from Mike Nester of Nester Video Production and Lehigh Valley Breaking taken at a two-alarm house fire last (Friday) night on Main Street in Northampton, Pennsylvania (Northampton County). At 1:44 on the bottom video you will hear the air horns sounding.

Here’s the description with Mike Nester’s video:

Late Friday night crews were dispatched to the 1400 blk of Main Street for a reported house fire, once responding crews were advised that Police were on location reporting flames from the first floor. Crews arrived and placed multiple lines in service to knock down the fire however the flames were already in the walls in the home and advanced through out the entire home. Crews would at one point be evacuated from the building and master streams were placed in service for a short time before returning to an offensive posture and finishing off the fire. Crews and neighbors rescued several dogs from the neighboring home in the early stages of the fire, no injuries were reported and the fire would be under investigation.

More from Bill Rohrer’s video:

Fire arriving engine crews darken down the fire on the first floor within 10 minutes, however the fire is rapidly extending in the walls and within a few minutes the 2nd and 3rd floors of the main fire building are fully-involved. At one point during the battle, evac tones are sounded and all members pulled out of the building. After they re-group and darken down some of the fire from the exterior hand lines, they re-enter both dwellings to hit the hot spots. The fire was under control 1 hour later. Crews spent a few hours overhauling and mopping up. The fire is under investigation.
