News chopper video shows Dallas firefighter unaware of flames on his back

A news chopper hovering above a Dallas, Texas house fire yesterday (Thursday) evening captured an incident that made for somewhat dramatic television but, in the end, didn’t seem to cause any harm. It appears that a firefighter was unaware that flames were shooting from his back as he climbed a ladder. Burning material from the roof had dripped onto the firefighter’s PPE.  A fellow firefighter eventually got his attention and was able to put out the fire before it did any harm.
