Video from Vito Maggiolo taken at a fire today (Wednesday) in the 1200 block of Michigan Avenue, NE in Washington, DC.
A baby was taken to the hospital after a house fire in Northeast D.C. on Wednesday.
The fire broke out at about 11 a.m. in the 1200 block of Michigan Avenue Northeast, fire officials said.
Firefighters responding to the scene found smoke showing from the home and were able to knock down the fire by about 11:50 a.m., according to officials.
No firefighters were injured responding to the scene. One dog was killed in the fire, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
