Video: Two rescued from house fire
This is video from West Coast Emergency Photography of a fire in Esquimalt, British Columbia on Vancouver Island where two people were rescued by firefighters.
Firefighters were called to the home on Admirals Road Wednesday night, to find it already fully involved with heavy smoke and flame.
When they heard there were two people inside, they busted through the front door and carried them out to waiting ambulances.
Island Health has now updated their condition: the husband is in stable condition in ICU at Vancouver General Hospital, the wife is in critical but stable condition at Victoria General Hospital.
