San Diego firefighters try to tweet drone out of sky over sandwich shop fire
Apparently firefighters are a bit more civil in San Diego than in Orange County, New York or when trying to deal with drones flying over their fireground. Instead of trying to shoot it out of the sky with fire hoses, or use a shotgun like the man in Kentucky, last (Tuesday) night the San Diego Fire Rescue Department attempted to tweet one out of the sky.
The fire was at K Sandwiches. Firefighters had switched from interior to exterior operations and saw a potential issue with a drone flying near the scene.
All drones need to cease flying around area of 7400 Linda Vista. You are interfering with fire operations. pic.twitter.com/CsjUvhq9EY

There are FFs on top of ladders. Don’t need the unsafe distraction. — SDFD (@SDFD) August 5, 2015
