Must see video: PGFD ambulance hits pole – pole impales car on MD Beltway
Fire officials say a Prince George’s County ambulance was involved in a crash on the Beltway Monday night in Oxon Hill.
According to Prince George’s County Fire and EMS spokesperson Mark Brady, the ambulance was sideswiped by a vehicle. The striking vehicle was stopped 200 yards from the crash.
Two paramedics were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Brady said the ambulance struck a light pole on the side of the road during the crash. He tweeted a video that showed the fallen pole pierced through the roof of another traveling car on the roadway.
