Helmet-cam video from Stockton, CA structure fire

The latest video from StocktonFireHistory is from a fire a-week-ago on North Carolina Street. Here’s the description with the video:

On Friday March 11th, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Stockton Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a structure fire with people possibly trapped in the 300 block of North California Street.

Firefighters arrived on scene and committed to an aggressive interior fire attack. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire and search the building for victims.

This video includes radio traffic, which is edited to coincide with the events in the video. Multiple videos were edited together, and the ‘fire clock’ may not be consistent with the clock of the video.

The residents had, in fact, all exited the building- and there were no victims found. Stockton firefighters brought the blaze under control quickly- stopping the ‘fire clock’ a mere 16 minutes after the initial 911 call. Damage to the structure and belongings were minimized due to quick action, and firefighters salvaged property in the storefront below after further quick actions.

This building is a two story ‘residential’ over ‘business,’ often referred to as a ‘taxpayer.’
