And yet another FDNY 9-11 impostor
A year and a half ago, we aired an interview with a man we believed was a former New York City firefighter.
Marc Kaufman told us he responded to the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001, and barely survived the collapse of the North Tower.
But his story wasn’t true.

Since the interview first aired, we’ve heard from more than one person who questioned Kaufman’s story.
A spokesman for the New York City Fire Department confirmed it has no record of Kaufman working as a New York City firefighter.
And on Tuesday, Kaufman admitted to WDBJ7 his story wasn’t true.
