On March 31, 2016, at approximately 1:26 a.m., patrol units from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 22000 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park.
Initial investigation revealed, a Ford F150 operated by Timothy Hinson Baxley, age 38, of Lexington Park, was traveling northbound on Three Notch Road, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a building. Subsequently, the building occupied by Franzen Realtors Inc. caught fire. Text messaging appears to be the primary cause of the vehicle exiting the roadway.
