Early video from a fire yesterday (Monday) at the Lincoln Place Mobile Home Park south of Riverton, Illinois.
Riverton Fire Chief Louie Rogers said flames were coming from the front of the structure when firefighters arrived at 1236 N. Oaklane Road about 12:50 p.m. Firefighters initially were able to get into the home to fight the blaze, but they had to leave because of safety concerns.
“At one point we did back everybody out because we had heavy (fire) in the sub-roof area and we had a hard time getting to it,” Rogers said.
