The video above by Martin and Sondra New shows the rail cars continuing to pancake after two freight trains collided near Panhandle, Texas (Carson County).

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway has confirmed two trains were involved in an incident that has caused a large fire at the eastern edge of the town of Panhandle.

The incident was reported at 8:40 a.m. Two trains appear to have collided and derailed which has caused a large fire.
There is a large amount of debris at the scene about five miles east of town near U.S. Highway 60.
Witness say there are two tracks that run side-by-side in that area.
