One person was at home when the fire began, exiting the two-story house and calling authorities, the detective said. The fire began on the exterior of the house and spread through the second floor and into the attic, Auteri said. There were no injuries, he said, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
“It appears to be accidental in nature,” he said.
