A video released by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Friday shows officers running toward a burning car to rescue a woman and two toddlers earlier this month.

On Sept. 3, a vehicle with five occupants struck a tree along St. Charles Parkway and burst into flames. In the crash, a woman was ejected from the car, the driver suffered fractures to his legs and was dragged to safety, and two toddlers and another woman were trapped in the burning car.
