Fire officials responded to a fire on the 22nd floor of a high rise building in Lower Manhattan Saturday afternoon.
According to the FDNY, the call for the second-alarm fire at 100 John Street came in around 2:17 p.m. No injuries have been reported so far and as of around 2:45 p.m. the fire was not under control. About an hour later, the FDNY tweeted that the blaze was under control.
