Fire crews from Darke and Randolph counties struggled to get the upper hand as high winds helped fuel a house fire in Union City Wednesday afternoon.
The fire broke out after 4 p.m. inside the two-story home on the 1300 block of W Chestnut Street on the Indiana side of Union City. With wind gusts of over 50 miles per hour, the fire quickly spread throughout the upper portion of the residence.
