Here’s a different angle showing the structural collapse on top of a firefighter during a house fire yesterday (Monday) in Antelope, California. The Sac Metro firefighter was treated and released from the hospital. The burning car rolled down the driveway and stopped when it hit the rig.

KCRA-TV:

A firefighter was hurt Monday morning while battling a house fire in Antelope when a portion of the roof collapsed, the Metro Fire Department said.

While firefighters were attacking the flames, a portion of the roof over the garage came down. The moment was recorded on video by Sergiy Pelyp.

The firefighter was hit by falling debris and was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, the fire department said.

“Fortunately, the debris that fell on him was basic lumber material, and we were able to lift that off of him and then pull him further down the driveway,” Sacramento Metro Fire Capt. Chris Vestal said.
