Kathy Wideman, WJBF-TV:

Richmond County investigators and the Augusta Fire Department say a large fire at Twin Peaks Restaurant on Robert C. Daniel Parkway was an arson.

A spokesperson for the Richmon County Sheriff’s Office says Evan Rolland is charged with arson. Investigators believe Rolland crashed his vehicle into the building, then set the building on fire.

The spokesperson says a private citizen held Rolland at gunpoint until deputies arrived.
