A massive, multi-apartment blaze at the Marco Polo condominium has left three people dead and at least 16 injured.
At least 100 firefighters are battling the difficult blaze, which started on the 26th floor and has spread to at least the 28th floor.
And officials said a number of people in the “hot zone” have been told to stay put in their units because they can’t be evacuated safely.
A special team of firefighters is going door to door to check for tenants who couldn’t evacuate.
