Picture of a true ‘Backdraft’ moment on swingers website results in firefighter’s suspension

In Manchester, England a firefighter recreating a scene from a 26-year-old movie ended up as a picture on a swingers website. As you will read below, things did not go well from there. I don’t think I am going out on a limb by saying this firefighter was not the first to mimic the hose bed sex scene from Ron Howard’s “Backdraft”, but he may be the first to become internationally famous.

A firefighter has been suspended after a four month investigation into allegations that a couple had sex on a fire engine.
Images of the pair appeared online this summer and the Greater Manchester brigade launched an inquiry.
The X-rated photo was posted on a UK swingers website by a person claiming to be ‘genuine fire crew’ and clearly showed the brigade’s website address on the side of a vehicle.
The M.E.N. understands a firefighter was suspended on Tuesday this week in relation to the sex allegations.
The service slammed the image, branding it an embarrassment to the brigade and saying it has ‘no place’ within the organisation.
