On October 11, 2017 at 3:03 pm SBCoFD firefighters were dispatched to multiple reports of a fire at the Rodeo Meadow Apartments in the City of Victorville. Units arrived minutes later to find heavy fire from a second story apartment with a possible rescue being reported. A second alarm was requested while firefighters initiated fire attack and search. No occupants were found however 2 dogs and one cat were rescued. In all 2 trucks, 5 engines, 2 chief officers, and two fire investigators were on scene, for a total of 25 personnel. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. The fire is currently under investigation.
