This was the scene Monday morning in Monterey Park, California. No injuries, but a few tense moments as the burning trash truck headed toward a home.
The truck was engulfed in flames and stopped on the road, before it rolled down a hill, hit a car parked on the street and crashed into the front yard of a home, video shot by Southern California Edison utility worker Max Palomera shows.
Aerial video from Sky5 showed the truck stopped just feet ahead of the front door of the home.
The truck, yard and streets around the scene appeared charred from the flames.
That garbage truck came in like a wrecking ball, that's on fire. See the video of the incident in LA County: https://t.co/qXlSaKBfGl
