A small Cessna plane has crashed in the Atlantic Ocean just off 22nd Street in Ocean City.
Fire officials confirm the Coast Guard and National Resources Police are on their way to the scene.
Only the pilot was on board. Witnesses say he got out of the plane and swam to shore

#Breaking Info from OC PD Happened around 6:19p an Ocean City Police officer observed a plane go down into the water, the 1 occupant (an adult male) was in the plane and is being evaluated by EMS on scene. PER PIO MSP will take the lead on this case.
