New firehouse & apparatus hit by flash flood in West Virginia

According to news reports, ground was broken on the new fire station in Hundred, West Virginia (Wetzel County) two-years-ago. Today (Saturday), the new firehouse and the department’s apparatus were hit by flash flooding.
It has been confirmed that Hundred Volunteer Fire Department has suffered devastating losses due to flash flooding, including four trucks and equipment.
Governor Jim Justice has declared a state of emergency for several area counties, including Wetzel.
Donations toward flood relief can be dropped off at New Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department in Steelton today until 4 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
