The driver of the truck and a restaurant employee were transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
Officials said the truck had just been serviced by Siddons-Martin Emergency Group in Denton. The company was returning the vehicle to the fire station when the crash occurred.
It is unclear what exactly caused the truck to hit the restaurant.
