Little boy’s prayer for firefighters goes viral

Four-year-old Brody Smith of Rocklin, California is getting his 15-minutes early in life thanks to an image of him praying for the firefighters who are battling the state’s wildfires.

After watching the fires on the news with this mom, Brody Smith became concerned and wanted to pray for the firefighters’ safety. His mother, Kelly Smith, captured the precious moment and tweeted it.

“God, um, please help the firefighters get out the fire. Amen,” he said.

KXTV posted a picture of Brody praying on Facebook on Sept. 14. As of Wednesday, the picture had over 60,000 likes.
