Raw video from body shop fire in MD

Firefighters in Montgomery County found fire through the roof of an auto body shop in Rockville Sunday night. The building is on North Stonestreet Avenue. Spokesman Pete Piringer says the fire apparently started because of an electrical problem in the ceiling above the office. Piringer says the fire was handled by an aggressive interior attack.

Shopping center in Australia

Apparently there were no injuries when an explosion and fire occurred at a power substation at a Sydney shopping center. There were people trapped in elevators who had to be freed by firefighters. The pictures above are from witnesses who sent them to The Brisbane Times.

Large warehouse fire in Florida


The sky lit up Monday evening as fire destroyed a large warehouse in Winter Haven. The blaze was at the Packaging Corporation of America. Flying, burning pieces of cardboard were responsible for at least one other fire. Read more, and see more video, here and here.
