Read letter from Ford to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
384,000 vehicles have 6-liter diesel engines manufactured by Ford between 2003 and 2006. Many of those vehicles are ambulances. In May, 2005 Ford sent a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A voluntary recall began in July 2005.
