Raw video: Cleveland firefighters left without water thanks to construction near house fire

WEWS-TV:

A construction zone hampered the firefighting efforts of Cleveland fire crews as they were battling flames at a vacant house on the west side early Tuesday.

Work on water lines in the area severely impacted the water pressure at the closest fire hydrant, forcing firefighters to search elsewhere.

The fire broke out in the area of West 30th Street and Clark Avenue around 5:10 a.m.

After about 10 minutes of running a hose, firefighters were able to start tackling the blaze.
