Radio traffic from Maryland fire engine wreck: This was the wreck on Sunday (see pictures to the left) that injured three firefighters from the Bay District VFD in St. Mary’s County. Reports indicate Engine 91 skidded on ice while responding to a house fire. The rig then struck a traffic signal pole at Route 246 and Route 5. Here’s the radio traffic.

Boston lieutenant charged in road rage incident: Paul Souza is accused in an incident Friday where, according to the Globe, police in Braintree say “he got out of his car, and shouted obscenities at the other driver before breaking the driver’s side window with his fist”.
