US Fire Administrator Kelvin Cochran to again become Atlanta's chief
Former Atlanta Fire Chief and present US Fire Adminstrator Kelvin Cochran has been chosen to be Atlanta’s fire chief again.
Cochran was one of several finalists for the Atlanta position. He has held the federal post in the Obama Administration for 9 months.
He originally came to Atlanta in January of 2007 after being fire chief in Shreveport, Louisiana.
