Ed Gray (All Hands Going to Work) was on the scene of this fire in a vacant apartment building on Summer Street in Paterson, New Jersey early Saturday morning. The Record’s Hannan Adely has some details:

Firefighters responded to 355-357 Summer St. at about 1:30 a.m. and found heavy fire on the first floor. Units were still on the scene into the late morning dousing hot spots

No one was injured and the fire was brought under control in about two hours, said Paterson Fire Department Deputy Chief John.

The building, which was severely damaged, was also the site of a fire in January 2007.
