Texas fire department tries to figure what’s next after hazing turns into sexual assault

So, what does a fire company do when more than 25-percent of its active firefighters have been arrested? Emergency Services District 6 in Ellis County, Texas is trying to figure that out after five firefighters and a civilian were charged with sexually assaulting a new volunteer with a sausage.

Those connected to the fire company are claiming this is an isolated incident. But the charges are so outrageous and involving so many members that this will be a tough one to get past. One of the first things the fire company did was pull down its Facebook page. In addition board members say they are consulting with an attorney about their next steps.
