Video from IntoTheSmokeTV of a two-alarm fire yesterday at the Ironstone Village strip mall in Medford Township, New Jersey (Burlington County). The helmet-cam is on the officer of Engine 2521, Dave Hernandez, who also produces IntoTheSmokeTV (www.twitter.com/intothesmoketv, www.facebook.com/intothesmoke, www.intothesmoke.tv).

From the video’s description:

Companies were dispatched to the Ironstone Village in Medford, NJ at 2 AM for a reported middle of the row restaurant fully involved- police on location reporting the same. Battalion 25202 arrived and placed all companies in service. Crews encountered heavy fire conditions in 3 units and had to use 2500 feet of large diameter supply hose to bring water to the fire. Crews used their largest hand lines and ladder pipes and were able to keep the fire to the 3 units involved on arrival.

On February 17, 2013 at 0159, Burlington County Central Communications received a 911 call of a working commercial structure fire in the Ironstone Village located on Stokes Road. Initial responding units were met with heavy fire to the Kanamizu Restaurant. Fire fighters from Union Fire Company, Taunton Fire Company, Medford Lakes, Lumberton, Vincentown, Tabernacle and Evesham responded to the scene. Medford Township Emergency Medical Services, Tabernacle Rescue and Medford Township Fire Police also provided on-scene support. The 2-alarm structure fire was placed under control at 0316. Several business sustained major damage. One firefighter was treated and transported to Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly for minor injuries and later released. The incident is currently under investigation by the Medford Township Criminal Investigations Bureau in conjunction with the Medford Township Fire Marshal’s Office.
