A smoky fire that gutted a three-unit apartment building in Harwood was ruled accidental, Hazle Township Fire Chief Scott Kostician said Wednesday.
The fire at 1143 Harwood Road late Tuesday afternoon appeared electrical in nature and started in a first-floor apartment on the west side, he said.
The fire started at the office building of an apartment complex on Harwood Street in Hazle Township around 5:00 p.m.
The office building was destroyed. Crews said at least two people were living in an apartment above the office.
