Another one of those vintage films from the Pittsburgh area posted on YouTube by LtDen27e. It is out of the collection of Captain Jack Marks. This one reminds us (as if we didn’t know) that houses collapsed even before lightweight construction. Okay, so it may have been burning a lot longer to get to that point.

Also, I have often noted many times that unlike now, when cameras are everywhere, it was unusual to get good film of fires back in the day. In this case there were at least two cameras rolling. For some reason I didn’t notice any cell phone film cameras being used. Maybe that is why it took them more than 40 years to get it on YouTube.
